M/M(Paris)×JW Anderson×TOSHIKI (2016)

At the 2016 London Fashion Week, the new project “World of M/M” by the French graphic design duo Michaël Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak (M/M Paris) was unveiled at the JW Anderson Workshops.
This space, directed by Jonathan Anderson, served as a creative hub where M/M showcased their multifaceted talents as art directors, graphic designers, filmmakers, and now, fashion designers.

For this project, TOSHIKI had the rare opportunity to engage in a triple collaboration with M/M Paris and JW Anderson. We produced two types of bags—a tote and a duffel—crafted from canvas, leather, and metal. Available in ten vivid colors including orange, pink, purple, and green, each bag featured signature embroidered patches inspired by the distinctive visual world of M/M, giving each piece a strong sense of individuality and presence.

Additionally, through our collaboration with JW Anderson, we released two styles of oversized, unisex sweatshirts. Limited to just ten pieces per design, the sweatshirts were adorned with M/M Eyes and M/M Twins patches.

2016年ロンドンファッションウィークにおいて、フランスのグラフィックデザイナーデュオ、ミカエル・アムザラグとマティアス・オーギュスティニアック（M/M Paris）による新作プロジェクト「World of M/M」が、JW Anderson Workshopsにて発表された。
この空間は、ジョナサン・アンダーソンがディレクションを手がけたクリエイティブな場であり、M/Mがアートディレクター、グラフィックデザイナー、映像作家、そしてファッションデザイナーとしての多面的な才能を発揮する舞台となった。

本プロジェクトにおいて、TOSHIKIはM/M ParisおよびJW Andersonとのトリプルコラボレーションという貴重な機会を得た。TOSHIKIは、トートバッグとダッフルバッグの2型を製作。素材にはキャンバス、レザー、メタルを使用し、オレンジ、ピンク、パープル、グリーンなど、鮮やかな10色を展開した。それぞれのバッグには、M/Mの象徴的なグラフィックを刺繍パッチとして落とし込み、個性と存在感を際立たせた。

さらに、JW Andersonとの協業により、ユニセックス仕様のオーバーサイズスウェットシャツも2型発表された。各型10点ずつの限定生産で、M/M EyesおよびM/M Twinsのパッチが配されている。
